Hello from Australia.
I have just purchased your awesome CbmHandBasic
What a delightful program and so lightening fast with the graphics (I upgraded to the graphics version).
I have connected my Smart Apple Keyboard to the Ipad, and all text input works for other programs Facebook etc, but it is not working with CbmHand Basic.
In 1983 I had three books published which sold very well.
The Penguin Book of Vic 20 Games
The Penguin Book of Commodore 64 Games
Using your VIC 20 as a MUSIC SYNTHESIZER
I want to reprogram many of the games in the books for CbmHand Basic and make many of them freely available from your forum, but I have no intention of entering the games code (hundreds of lines of code) using the onscreen Ipad keyboard.
QUESTIONS 1
Is there a way to connect the Ipad Pro Keyboard to CbmHand Basic, so that Basic recognizes key commands coming from CbmHand Basic?
If not, is it possible for you to add Smart Apple Keyboard input?
If am quite willing to pay a small sum for you to incorporate Smart Apple Keyboard Input so that input can be done.
QUESTION 2
Is there a very simple BASIC interpreter for the Windows version 10, which has a command set very similar to CbmHand Basic?
If it is not possible to enter keyboard code into CbmHand Basic from the Smart Apple Keyboard, then the next option would be for me to create the code in the PC interpreter, and save it as text and then send it to the Ipad. But this would be a very poor option because all the graphics commands would have to be entered from CBmHand Basic.
I am very excited at getting back to some fun game writing and reprogramming for your great program.
I hope to hear from you very soon.
Thank you.
Paul from Australia.
