It's where you can call it on strings/tables numerous times using the variable only once:
do local OPrint = print
function print(str) OPrint(str) return print end end
print "hello" "what's" "up?"

And for what is that good? I think its good for testing a function, but I won't use it in programs. It's very confused But nice function.
