I switched to a used iPhone 6 today, and ever since nothing is working. Seems like socket and other libraries are simply missing, uh... Is there any way to re-install TouchLua without deleting all my scripts?

Make iCloud backup and iTunes backup first. Then reinstall. Now, your files should be there. If not, you have to restore backup from Computer :/
And what do you mean with "missing"? It doesn't find the module?

Runtime Error: telnetexample.lua:10: module 'socket' not found: no field package.preload['socket'] no file 'socket.lua' no file '/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/27D6DE08-BF6F-4C25-9659-6DD25CF54EE2/Library/Application Support/socket.lua' no file '/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/27D6DE08-BF6F-4C25-9659-6DD25CF54EE2/Documents/Simple Framework/socket.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/socket.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/loadall.so' no file './socket.so'

Perhaps it is an iOS version problem. Old versions don't have the socket library because they don't have the latest Touch Lua. What version of iOS is this phone running?

I think the lowest version of a iPhone 6 is iOS 8. But it could be, that you have installed a older version of Touch Lua :/

No, it has been on iOS 9.2 since it was released. So you are sure that it has installed the latest version of Touch Lua?

I just copied all my scripts and put them into notes, then re-installed TouchLua. That fixed it.

This issue still exists, and with a jailbreak, I've been able to identify the exact problem. When restoring data from any backup, the /Library/Application Support folder is empty for some reason. So all Lua libraries are gone. To restore the libraries, I suggest using the 9.3.3 Pangu jailbreak, installing a file browser to backup your scripts, reinstalling TouchLua and putting the files back. Afterwards you can use Cydia impactor to unjailbreak. To permanently fix this, I suggest checking if the libraries are there everytime the app is started, if necessasary re-download them.

This is a known issue and will be addressed in future releases.
